Ronald Wiger Obituary

RONALD “RONNIE” ALAN WIGER
April 25, 1967 ˜ August 13, 2025

On April 25, 1967, Ronnie was born in Vancouver, WA, to Jane Wiger and Ronald Wiger. He grew up with an affinity for sports, history, practical jokes and helping others. In 1985, Ronnie graduated from Fort Vancouver High School and soon after managed the family business, Bill’s Chicken & Steak House, until its closure in 2014. Ronnie enjoyed the kitchen and could put out 40 steaks at once perfectly cooked to the customer’s liking! In 1991, Ronnie met the love of his life, Denise, and was married for 33 years before his passing. Ronnie loved all things sports and spending time at the Oregon Coast and Swan Lake, MT.

In 2020, Ronnie was diagnosed with ALS. Despite this, Ronnie chose to live life to the fullest. Ronnie was a courageous, humble, intelligent, and kind-hearted family man who always had a joke or Jeopardy clue answer ready to go. He was a trusted sounding board and participated in clinical trials to help find a cure for ALS.

On August 13, 2025, Ronnie passed away at home. He is survived by his wife, Denise, children, Chase (Brittany), Cade (Meghan), Cooper, grandchildren, Luke, Hallie, Barrett, brother, Phillip (May), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held September 7, at 1 p.m., 605 Barnes Street, Vancouver, WA.
